Warm Woolies project update

I'm back to working on my Warm Woolies contribution projects, the 10 for 10 in 2010 and the Six for Six campaigns specifically. So far I have three pairs of socks for the Six for Six and one pair for the 10 for 10. I also have a partially-done sweater for 10 for 10, but I'm not sure if when finished, it will qualify. It doesn't matter to me--I enjoy making those socks and sweaters knowing they will keep a child warm. I started another pair for the Six for Six today and I'm finally using my 2 skeins of blue variegated Malabrigo. I love it so much! It's so soft...one of the nicest yarns I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I will post more pics once I get closer to mailing the socks out!
Have a good Wednesday!

Camera has surfaced!

My digital camera has surfaced! Took the opportunity to flash most of my sock yarn stash, minus what hasn't been unpacked and minus what I ordered and hasn't been delivered yet. Enjoy!

Retail Therapy

I've been engaging in some retail therapy in the last few days. Joann Fabrics: 2 balls of Bamboo & Ewe sock yarn in the blue and grey color. Blue Moon Fiber Arts: 3 skeins of Socks that Rock. Knitpicks: 2 balls of Felici in Gelato, a set of US 1 dpns, 1 skein of Stroll Handpaints in Tree Fort, and a skein of Stroll Handpaints in Makebelieve. I feel really good about all of it..
I'm doing better. Every day gets easier. Son is thriving up here too so everything is for the best, even though its been rough.
