Blog Contest Time!!!

It's been forever since I last posted, but one of my new year's resolutions is to return to blogging, since it has always been something I enjoy! To mark my return to BlogLand, I'm having a blog contest, the prize being a skein of Sanguine Gryphon Bugga! sock yarn in the colorway Smaller Yellow Ant (it's a burnt orange color). All you need to do to be entered is leave me a comment letting me know what your favorite sock yarn is(and if you aren't a sock knitter, that is completely fine--tell me what your favorite yarn is instead). I will randomly draw a number using the number generator on January 17th, so enter by then!

  8. I love all those squishy soft yarns but my favorite sock yarn is Schoeller & Stahl because it hold up to my boyfriend's wear and tear beautifully. For myself, I would probably choose Yarn Pirate BFL or Blue Moon.

I need to expand my sock yarn stash...wait, sock yarn doesn't count as stash, right?

  59. I haven't been able to make entire socks in anything yet except for Sockotta, Cascade Sassy Stripes, Lion Brand Magic Stripes, Tofutsies, and Sockina Cotton. Out of these, my favorite was the Sockina Cotton because it was quite soft. But, I've been able to use a bit here and there of others donated for my Sock Yarn Blankie, and I am in LOVE with Malabrigo Sock. I also like TyDy Sock and KnitPicks Felici.
