I finally finished my socks made from Noro Kureyon Sock! Started in 2008....finished in 2011. I started out not liking the yarn-which in turn caused me to pause after the first sock was complete--but I wound up being a big fan of this yarn. I really began to enjoy(and look forward to) the interesting color pairings and the thick/thin nature of the yarn. Sometimes too thin...Here they are! On a side note: I am debating about whether to start a pair in the other skein of Kureyon Sock that's currently chilling in the stash...It has fun colors too!

I stopped by my favorite yarn store, River Colors Studio in Lakewood, Ohio, the other day and picked out some new yarn. From left: Colinette Jitterbug in Ischia, Dream in Color March Dream Club Smooshy in Cashmere, Dream in Color February Dream Club Starry in the Honeymoon colorway. I'm going to be winding the DIC Smooshy with Cashmere in the next couple days--it's destined to be some March Irish-themed socks in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
