Just posting a progress pic of my Rosa Rubiginosa Socks (from Hunter Hammersen's The Knitter's Curiosity Cabinet). I'm enjoying knitting these socks--the pattern is not easy for me to memorize, yet I don't have to concentrate hard enough to get a headache. The yarn I'm using (Great Lakes Dyeworks Pretty Sock) is a tonal green, but it has slight variations in the color which is making the socks turn out really nice. The heel (the part of the sock I'm currently working on) is a new kind of heel design for me to use--I usually do a sl1, k1 on the RS, and a sl1, p to the end on the WS. It's looking very nice so far--can't wait to be done with sock #1 and move on to #2!
