Sock finished and some new yarn!

Time has flown by..it feels like the year has just begun and its already almost March!  We have had a pretty decent winter here in NE Ohio--decent in that there has been much less snow than we usually get by this point in winter.  Here's hoping it stays that way..sure is much nicer to drive in!  Over the long weekend, my son and I took a little drive to Erie, Pennsylvania-an hour or so away from Cleveland, where I live--to go to the Cultured Purl, a yarn shop I found via Ravelry(I don't know what I would do without Rav--love it).  It is a really great shop, tons of yarn, and totally worth the drive.  I got: a skein of Dashing Dach's Dach Sox yarn in the colorway Dorothy, SweetGeorgia Yarns Tough Love Sock in Riptide, and Abstract Fiber Temptation in Raspberry.  Also: Lantern Moon Sox Stix--love.  My son loved the side room at the shop, which had some toys in it for kids(Mom loved it too).

Over the weekend I finished sock #1 of Dragonfly Socks that I have been toiling away(working) on for about a year.  Made with Araucania Ranco sock yarn--trying to get over SSS and cast on for the second sock, since the pattern is really fun.
